MCC's SHRM certification exam prep course is designed for individuals seeking a Professional in Human Resource (PHR)® or Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) certification®
This intensive SHRM Learning System exam prep course provides participants with training in the six key areas of human resource management:  Business Management and Strategy, Workforce Planning and Employment, HR Development, Compensation and Benefits, Employee and Labor Relations, Risk Management. 

Benefits:  Our experienced and certified instructors present the SHRM Learning System prep course in an easy to understand format in a structured learning environment that includes lecture, case studies and peer discussions. SHRM materials include an online resources center, flashcards, pre and post tests, module exams, and a practice final exam. 3.0 CEUs awarded upon successful completion. Partial CEUs not awarded. SHRM textbooks will be available at the first class.

Instructor: Lorrie M. Ferraro, GPHR is an accomplished Human Resources executive with in-depth international experience and a consistent record of developing corporate-wide strategic goals and implementing key business initiatives that measurably impact shareholder value.  Noted for innovation, leading major change efforts, and creating operational excellence in human resources.  Demonstrated expertise in organizational design and development, shared services implementation, compensation plans, staffing, benefits, employee relations, HRIS, and talent development.  Areas of expertise include:  Building Global Capability, Growing Shareholder Value and M&A Due Diligence and Integrations.  She has taught PHR/SPHR exam prep courses since 1999. Lorrie holds a B.S. in International Business, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Lorrie is certified GPHR, SPHR.

Less than 5 business days prior to start of the course: 50% tuition refund

SHRM textbooks are non-refundable once opened.

Attention Massachusetts Small Business Owners:  This course is approved by the
Massachusetts Workforce Express Fund.   This pool of funding is designed for
small business owners with less than 100 employees to quickly provide training
for employees.  Funding is paid to employers (not employees).  If eligible, this
fund will reimburse employers 50 % of the tuition cost.  Employers must apply six
