Welcome to the Adjunct Junction Web Page at MCC
Sponsored by The Teaching, Learning, and Reflection Center. Although we welcome you to take advantage of almost all professional development opportunities, this page is designed especially to provide resources to MCC part-time faculty. There are two Teaching, Learning, and Reflection Centers (TLRCs), one in Bedford and one in Lowell. In addition to the availability of computers for your use, the TLRCs provide an array of workshops that meet once, twice, three times or more depending upon the depth of the topic. Check this page often for opportunities to continue to perfect your practice.
We welcome your feedback on these sessions and this page; please send us comments, or suggestions for ways we can better meet your needs.
We want to make your teaching experience at Middlesex Community College (MCC) as rewarding as possible.
There are now two adjunct mentors, one on each campus, to help answer any questions that you may have. They can help with basic information such as where to get copies made, or they can tackle tougher questions regarding how to deal with difficult students. Please feel free to stop by, set up an appointment, call or email any and all questions. Please call either mentor, particularly in the evening, if you need to have a question answered immediately.
