Welcome to the Office of Student Engagement

The Office of Student Engagement (OSE) supports learning outside of the classroom through campus organizations, clubs, and events that enrich your college experience. There’s something for everyone, and participation is more than a way to pass the time. Being part of a campus group encourages teamwork, enhances communication skills, develops leadership abilities, and reduces stress while providing opportunities to meet people and make new friends. Among the activities and events that we offer are the following:
- More than 40 student-run clubs and organizations
- Student Union Government Association
- Middlesex Activities Council
- Leadership Development
- Community and Civic Engagement
- First-Year Experience
Learning Outcomes
As a result of active engagement with Student Activities and Leadership programming, students will be able to:
- articulate that leadership is a process (not a position)
- synthesize prior learning with current life events
- demonstrate interpersonal capacity using appropriate social and soft skills
- demonstrate self-authorship, congruence, and emotional maturity
