Communications Certificate Program
In these rapidly changing and competitive times, every for-profit
and non-profit organization should be concerned about how they
communicate their image and reputation, products and services, to internal and
external stakeholders. The ability to communicate the right message to the right
audience at the right time with the right communications tools is a valuable skill.
This new certificate in communications program is a fast-paced way for students
to increase their professional skill set with greater understanding of persuasive
communications to meet your organizations internal and external communications
needs across a variety of platforms. By improving your strategic communications
skills and learning effective communications strategies students will become more
desirable candidate for professional growth and success. Participants may enroll in
any or all modules listed. Participants must complete all 6 modules for a certificate
of completion.
Professor Rick Pozniak is a communications executive with 40 years of award
winning experience in all phases of organizational communications including
public and media relations, marketing and advertising, social media and community
relations for many top brand organizations in higher education, corporate health
care, government and various consulting clients. Professor Pozniak has taught
graduate and undergraduate communications courses at Northeastern University,
Regis College, New England Institute of Law Enforcement Management at Babson
College and Middlesex Community College.
Public Relations Principles and Case Studies
