Fall Gardening
Closing the garden in fall and the activities performed then establishes how well
it will perform the following year. This three-hour course will provide training and
tips on preparing the garden to survive the winter and perform better in the spring.
The session will cover information on digging and storing tender bulbs, protecting
perennials, lawn tasks, general yard maintenance, and planning and preparing the

Introduction to Craft Beer Brewing
The basic session is an introduction to craft brewing as well as a walking tour of
the brewing process. We will take you from recipe building to raw materials to
the actual brew and fermentation all the way to finished beer. Students will walk
away with materials to describe the finished beers they taste during the class. This

In this class, students will team up to create a beer! Topics will include brewing
terminology as well as brewing process with notes on the scale considerations
between home brewing and commercial brewing. This class meets three times to

Trick or Treat Cake Decorating
Are you having or going to a Halloween party, well in this class you will be making
a spooky dessert ready for its film debut. You will learn how to make a Halloween
themed 3-Dimentional cake. Learn the basic ins and outs of working with fondant
for that realistic look everyone's going crazy for. The class will cover dying, rolling
out and laying fondant properly on your 3-D cakes, complete with fondant accents.
The supply fee of $15 will cover all the supplies needed for the class. Enrollment

Masala Mixin' Street Foods from India
(Vegetarian Style)
Masala Mixin' Street Foods from India is a series of four classes that will introduce
foods form various regions of India that is found predominantly on the streets. It
may be useful to take this class after the basic class or have an understanding of
Indian spices. The class will include steaming and baking dishes. Using basic Indian
beans and vegetables, students will learn to prepare appetizers, and make multiple
dishes from the same ingredients. Sign up with your family cooking together is a
great experience! Please bring containers to take food home. An $80 materials fee
is due to the instructor on the first night of class. $120
