Guten Abend! Sprechen Sie Deutsch ? ein wenig? This course is intended both
for students continuing from the previou ?German Intermediate? class and for
others with previous knowledge of basic German (in the present tense) and some
basic grammar (e.g. conjugation & basic sentence structure). The emphasis will
be on building conversational ability by engaging in conversation about everyday
situations. Participants will review and expand their knowledge of grammar and

sowie einige Zeitungs-und Zeitschriftenartikel und Kurzgeschichten lesen. Lese-

This course is intended for students who have had some exposure to French, such
as courses in high school or an adult evening beginner French class. We will work
on the four skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a focus on oral
proficiency using a textbook, compact discs, and videos. We will end the session
preparing a French dish and, of course, speaking as much French as possible while
enjoying our repas. (20 Hours) $175

students who have previously studied French. The course is conducted entirely in
French. We will use The Ultimate French Review and Practice. We will also read
a novel or play. A French movie will be viewed and discussed. At the end of the
session, we will go out to a French restaurant to practice our French in an authentic

This course will serve as an introduction to the foundations of the
Quality Organization within the BioPharma Industry. Topics include
the history of GMP, the differentiation between Quality Assurance and Quality
Control organizations, and the overall importance of effectively managed Quality
in a BioPharma setting. The integration of Quality into Biopharmaceutical product

Pharmacy Technician
Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, Pharmacy
Technicians work in hospitals, home infusion pharmacies,
community pharmacies and other healthcare settings. This course is
designed to teach students the knowledge and skills necessary to practice
as a Pharmacy Technician. The course will consist of a 60 hour instructor
led class followed by an 80 hour externship in an actual pharmacy setting.
The course will prepare the student to take the National Certification Exam
to become PTCB certified. The instructor led portion of the class will review
various topics including pharmacy operations, pharmacy law, pharmaceutical
calculations, routes of administration, medical abbreviations, medication
dosage forms, interpreting drug orders, regulations and the top two hundred
prescription medications. The Externship portion of the course is designed
to give the student real world experience in a pharmacy setting to reinforce
the topics studied in the classroom. Students will also be given practical
knowledge on the interview process and what employers are seeking in a
candidate. (60 hours classroom, 80 hours EXTERNSHIP) $1,299

Equipment Validation
In this 10-hour course, students are introduced to the fundamentals of
equipment commissioning and validation. Among the topics included
are: Regulatory requirements and guidelines, procedures and techniques, and
practical applications. There is a hands-on component that includes commissioning
and validation of several pieces of equipment using typical validation instruments.
A certificate will be granted upon successful completion of this course. (10 hours)

Local Anesthesia Certification Program for RDH
This course is recommended for RDH who would like to become certified in local
anesthesia. MCC complies with the Mass. Board of Registration in Dentistry
regulations for the administration of local anesthesia. At completion, the RDH will
be able to administer safe, effective, and painless local anesthesia with confidence
and competence. The course consists of a 40-50 hour online study (self-paced)
prior to clinical training, interactive presentations, and a 3-day clinical training
in which students will have 30 injection experiences administering the following
nerve blocks: ASA, MSA, IO, PSA, GP, NP, IA, L, M, I, B and infiltration technique.
The strength of this hands-on course is the amount of actual time you will
administer injections to your classmates. Upon successful completion, students
will be awarded a certificate and 56 CEUs and will be prepared to take the NERB
exam. Note: Students will be required to submit appropriate forms: medical and
dental history, consent form, student memo of understanding and copy of current
CPR certification and RDH license. 4:1 student to instructor ratio during clinical.
