This introductory, hands-on course will prepare you in the art of searching for a
job through one of the most popular online applications, LinkedIn. Students will
become proficient in using the site, develop a profile with photo, build a network,
learn how to search for jobs, and apply for jobs. Additionally, students will develop
their professional brand and understand its importance. It is recommended that all
students have a recently updated resume and register for a LinkedIn account prior

OSHA General Industry 10 Hours Training
This training program provides information for safe practices governed by OSHA
standards for General Industry Workers. Worker rights, employer responsibilities
and how to file a complaint, as well as identification, prevention and remediation
of workspace dangers will be discussed. Instruction time is 10 hours minimum with
additional time for testing and discussions. Students passing the test on the last
day of class will receive OSHA certificates. OSHA cards are mailed within 90 days.
* A $5 fee for OSHA cards will be collected during the first class. (12 hours) $129

Spanish for Beginners
This course will help students develop the four skills of the Spanish language
necessary for basic communication: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. These
skills will be practiced and integrated regularly during the semester. Students
should not expect to comprehend every word from their instructor, but should try to
integrate what they do know to understand the overall meaning. The classes are
planned to practice 65% conversation, 25% reading, and 10% writing. (15 Hours)

This class will provide an opportunity to build vocabulary and work on basic
structures of elementary German. Students will practice speaking, listening reading
