CCNA Security Certification
Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
provides students with the skills required to secure Cisco networks.
This 90 hour (2 semester course), prepares the students to pass the Cisco
CCNA Security Certification Exam.
During the exam prep course, students will learn about security threats in
modern networks, how to secure network equipment, and how to implement
Authentication Authorization and Accounting (AAA) on Cisco equipment using
local database and external ACS. Also covered will be threat mitigation using
access controls and secure network design principles as well as mitigating
common Layer 2 attacks and general implementation of Cisco IOS firewalls.
The course will also cover implementation of Cisco IOS Intrusion Detection/
Prevention, Cryptographic systems, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and
the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) product. This will also include
managing a secure network (management and reporting). Prerequisites:

Introduction to Cybersecurity
Data security breaches and cybercrime are increasing at an alarming
rate, and in addition to threatening a businesses' critical information,
they threaten our very way of life in a digital world. This introductory course is
designed to give the non-security focused IT administrator or Manager an
introduction to the concepts and terminology that comprise cybersecurity today so
they can ensure their organization is prepared to protect it's critical information
assets.
Through lecture, discussion and demonstration, students will learn about the threat
landscape from script kiddies to organized cybercriminals and state sponsored
attackers. Key elements of the Cyber Attack Lifecycle will be reviewed and lined

dangers. As well as how and why your online activities are tracked and analyzed.
You will become aware of strategies for managing your Internet connection, web
browsing, email, chatting, social media, and file sharing. This course will cover
how to download and upload files safely with an emphasis on avoiding downloads
containing possible viruses. Learn how to create strong passwords in order to better
protect your online activities. This course will cover how to clear your browsing
history, clear cookies and online forms, Recycle Bin, Spam folder, and Trash folder

Forensic Computer Examiner. ES 305
As criminal defense attorneys and civil attorneys encountered law-
enforcement examiners, the need for qualified civilian forensic computer
examiners grew. Currently, there's a huge demand for certified, qualified forensic
computer examiners. Some trained examiners have started their own businesses,
some work for large companies, such as Deloitte and Touche, and others work for
law-enforcement agencies. This comprehensive ONLINE program prepares you for
a career in this emerging field. You'll learn not only to thoroughly examine digital
media, but also to clearly document, control, prepare, and present examination
