Enhanced Online Student Financial Services

Middlesex has partnered with Touchnet Commerce Management System to provide online account services for students, parents and other authorized users. Students have the convenience of self-serve access to view billing, make payments, and receive refunds faster into their bank accounts.


Online Billing Statement

A notification of all new/updated billing statements will be emailed to students’ MCC email and can be viewed in MyMCC/ billing

 

Payment Plan

  • Enrolling in a payment plan is fast and easy. (And the software does the math!)
  • Any changes to the individual payment plan balance, due to change in enrollment and/or financial aid will be updated daily


Online Payments

 

 Electronic Check (ACH)

  • Electronic Check (ACH), personal checking or savings account

Credit cards

  • Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express credit cards are accepted

eRefunds

  • Enroll online to have student refunds deposited directly into their personal checking or savings account


Third Party Access to Online System

  • Students can authorize a parent, spouse or significant other to view and pay bills online. Use Authorize user in billing
  • This online access will also satisfy FERPA requirements that will allow the authorized third-party user to discuss student billing issues with Student Accounts staff.
  • Directions for obtaining the FERPA form is below.



Instructions to Access Online Student Financial Services:

 

Start Here:

 

Then choose one of the following:

 

View Your Student Bill

  • Select Online Student Account Services
  • Select View Activity
  • Select applicable term

Note: A notification of all new/updated billing statements will be emailed to your MCC email.

 

Pay Your Bill

  • Select Online Student Account Services
  • Select Make a Payment
  • Enter term and amount that you would like to pay and select Continue
  • Select Payment Option and click Continue
  • Select Method you would like to pay (Electronic check-ACH or Credit/Debit Card) and continue to follow user friendly instructions to complete payment.

 

Setup a Payment Plan

  • Select Online Student Account Services
  • Select Enroll in Payment Plan
  • Select a Term and choose plan
  • Review the Payment Schedule section, the Setup Fee, Down Payment and the Total Due now amount then select Continue
  • Choose your payment method
  • Provide your payment details then select Continue.
  • Review your Payment Plan Agreement details then select the I Agree button and select Continue.

Note: A confirmation of your payment plan agreement will be emailed to your MCC email account.

 

Sign Up for eRefunds

  • Select Online Student Account Services
  • Select Electronic Refunds under My Profile Setup
  • Select Set up Account
  • Provide bank account informationScroll down and then click on Continue
  • Review the Set Up Refund Account agreement. Click on “I Agree” button then select Continue

 

Setup Authorized Users to View Account Information

  • Select Online Student Account Services
  • Select Authorized Users under My Profile Setup
  • Enter the authorized user’s email address. Allow them access to view and pay your bills and/or view your payment history by clicking on “Yes” and then selecting “Continue”
  • Read the information on the “Agreement to Add Authorized User” screen, and click “Agree” and then click “Continue.”
  • Your authorized user’s email address will serve as their log in username. It is also where they will receive messages about your bill.
  • A username and randomly assigned password will be emailed to them.

FERPA release (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)

  • Go to https://www.middlesex.edu/e-formscentral
  • Scroll down to and click Consent to Release Education Records (FERPA)
  • Fill out the required information in Sections A,B,C. (Section D is to revoke consent)
  • Click on Submit
