Public Records Access Requests



On June 3, 2016, Governor Baker signed "An Act to Improve Public Records" into law. The provisions in the new law will take effect on January 1, 2017.

The Massachusetts Public Records Law (M.G.L Chapter 66 & Chapter 4, Section 7 (26)) provides that every person has the right to access public information.
