The new portal provides multiple ways to find what you need most and the ability to customize your page to highlight what you care most about. You can search for a specific task with the search box at the top of the page.
Or view tasks grouped by category by clicking the Categories link on the lefthand side of the page.
You can customize your portal by favoriting your frequently used items by clicking the heart symbol at the bottom of the tile.
This will create a My Favorites section which makes it easy to access these again in the future.
You can re-order the items in your My Favorites section and My Recently Used section, too.
If you would like to create a tile for a website you visit frequently, you can add a bookmark for it. Begin by clicking the Edit My Favorites button.
Then click the Add Bookmark button.
Give your bookmark a name and paste in the url, then click Add.
Your new bookmark appears as a tile in your My Favorites section.
You can also view and access your Blackboard courses, by either clicking the Blackboard tile, or scrolling to the Blackboard Courses section of your portal.
You can organize your page by changing the layout to display the sections that you want to see first. Click the Layout button to open the Main Page Layout window where you can drag and drop to reorder the sections.
