What is Remote or Online Learning?

Online Learning means that you, your classmates, and your instructor will be separated physically as you complete your course. Even though you will not be in the same classroom with your instructor and other students, you will still interact with them using a variety of technology tools. Some of those tools may be:

  • Your Middlesex e-mail
  • The Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing
  • Zoom Web Conferencing
  • U.S. Postal Mail
Each of your instructors has determined how you will complete the course through remote learning. This may be different for different courses. Your instructor will communicate with you about how your course will continue. If you have not yet heard from your instructor about how your course will be completed or you do not have access to a computer, please email DeanofStudents@middlesex.mass.edu.
