Challenge + Support = Growth

Through the services provided by the Academic Centers for Enrichment (ACE), students can access individual and group tutoring and study skills support, both online and in person.

Tutors lead study sessions, assist with projects and assignments, and provide guidance in the use of computers and learning tools.Tutoring is provided by professional and peer tutors in most subjects taught at Middlesex Community College.

The ACE department also provides Supplemental Instruction for most STEM, Health and English Composition I courses. Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders provide weekly study groups for students enrolled in targeted science, technology, engineering and mathematics (also known as STEM) courses.  Check out our SI Video to learn more about Supplemental Instruction!

Are you taking a Winter Session course? The ACE department will be providing writing tutoring online as well as face to face tutoring by appointment. To request an appointment, please fill out the following form by clicking on the Winter Tutoring here. We will respond within 24-48 hours. 

eTutoring is available 24/7. Online tutoring will be available during Fall Session starting on Monday, September 11th  and ending on Friday, December 22nd  for Writing across all subjects, Math from developmental level through Precalculus, Calculus I and Calculus II, Statistics, Accounting, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Nursing, Research Methods, and Information Literacy. Please create an account to access eTutoring free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
