Please Note

The FAFSA is available October 1 for the upcoming academic year, uses income information from two years prior to the academic year, and must be completed each year. We encourage students to apply by May 1 since The Commonwealth has a filing deadline to receive state aid.

Our offices use a student's MyMCC email account as the official means of communication, so please check your email account often if you are a current student.

Types of Financial Aid

There are four main types of financial aid. A student is offered a combination of aid (known as a financial aid award) from these four programs:

  • Grants
  • Scholarships
  • Federal Work-Study
  • Loans
