Financing Your Education - FAFSA Workshops

You may reserve a space to receive help in completing the 1920 FASFA (for fall 2019, spring 2020 and summer 2020) and/or the 2021 FAFSA (for fall 2020, spring 2021 and summer 2021). The 2020-2021 FAFSA opens October 1. 2019.

FAFSA workshop date will soon be announced. 

FAFSA WEDNESDAY WORKSHOPS GENERAL INFORMATION:

You can reserve a seat to work with Financial Aid Staff to complete your FAFSA - at one of the upcoming workshops in either the Bedford or Lowell location when dates are announced.

To reserve a space in Bedford call 781-280-3650. To reserve a space in Lowell call 978-656-3242.  Please report to the Financial Aid office on the campus of your choice prior to the start time of the workshop.

MAY 1, 2020 is the MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENT FAFSA (RECOMMENDED) DEADLINE for the 2021 FAFSA
If you would like to be considered to receive Mass State Grant funding. please complete the your 2021 FAFSA at FAFSA.gov before this May 1, 2020. 

*Documentation and Requirements for the 2019-2020 FAFSA application:

  • 2017 U.S. income tax return—IRS Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ (2018 for the 2021 FAFSA)
  • W-2 Forms and other records of money earned in 2017 (2018 for the 2021 FAFSA)
  • Records of 2017 (2018 for the 2021 FAFSA) un-taxed income such as Social Security Benefits, Workers’ Compensation, or Welfare.
  • If you are under 24 years of age (born before January 1, 1996 - January 1, 1997 for the 2021 FAFSA), the same documentation is required for your parents. There are other reasons you may not need your parents information, such as being married, support dependents or a veteran of the armed forces.

HOW TO GET HELP WITH YOUR FAFSA:
Our staff can help you begin or complete the application process during our office hours - Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. We have computers available in the Financial Aid Office for student use.  No appointment is necessary, and you can walk in to our Bedford or Lowell location at any time during business hours, but plan to arrive no later than 4 p.m. Please bring documents that may be necessary to complete your FAFSA - please click here for a checklist.

FSA-ID:
You will need to obtain your Federal FSA-ID and one for your parents as well (if you under under age 24). You can go to the federal FSA-ID site. To apply for one or request a duplicate, or if you have misplaced it, go to this link: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa/filling-out/fsaid. Be sure you know your social security number, as this will be required to complete your FAFSA. an See below*
