How to complete the 2016-17 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Do you need help completing your Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA)? Computers are available in the Financial Aid Office for student use. Our staff can help you begin or complete the application process during office hours. No appointment is necessary, but plan to arrive no later than 4p.m.
Or, you may want to attend one of the workshops being presented by the Financial Aid Office. Each week, through the end of April, FAFSA application workshops are on campus at 3:00 p.m on various dates, as indicated below. Please contact your campus Financial Aid Office to reserve a seat. Call the Bedford office at 781-280-3650 or Lowell at 978-656-3242. Please plan to arrive on time.

Please report to the Financial Aid office on the campus of your choice prior to the start time of the workshop.
If you would like help with filling out the FAFSA, bring the following 2014 income documents to the workshop:
- 2015 U.S. income tax return—IRS Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ.
- W-2 Forms and other records of money earned in 2015.
- Records of 2015 untaxed income such as Social Security Benefits, Workers’ Compensation, or Welfare.
- If you are under 24 years of age (born before January 1, 1993), the same documentation is required for your parents. There are other reasons you may not need your parents information, such as being married, support dependents or a veteran of the armed forces.
Please be sure to obtain your Federal FSA-ID and one for your parents as well. You can go to the federal FSA-ID site, located at http://www.fsaid.ed.gov/ to apply for one or request a duplicate, if you have one but misplaced it. Be sure to bring your social security card to complete your FAFSA name section and social security number.
