NEW BRAIN GAMES (AGES 10-15)
Through a blend of fun activities and new scientific research, youth will learn how their brain impacts their behavior. Topics will include sensation and perception, with an emphasis on vision, color, light and optical illusions. Youth will also make connections to their own learning styles through understanding memory mechanics in the brain, as well stress-coping mechanisms.

EXPERIENCE WRITING (AGES 10-15)
From pavement to paper, we will approach the writing process via daily adventures and experiences. This odyssey will entail surveying several forms of writing and producing a portfolio as a memento of daily activities. Students will gain a stronger grasp of grammar concepts, creative writing techniques, and essay format. Confident and emerging writers with a sense of adventure and a love of learning new things are encouraged to attend. All activities included in the cost.

MINECRAFT (AGES 8-12)
Through a blend of fun activities and new scientific research, youth will learn how their brain impacts their behavior. Topics will include sensation and perception, with an emphasis on vision, color, light and optical illusions. Youth will also make connections to their own learning styles through understanding memory mechanics in the brain, as well stress-coping mechanisms. a Typically, kids play Minecraft at home with little to no direction or goals in mind. Now, approach gameplay from a new angle to learn how to think critically about your work with the infinite possibilities of the game. Create themes, storylines, dialog between characters, objectives, goals, and more. Most anything imaginable can be performed in Minecraft. It is the epitome of creativity a limitless opportunity to build, discover, and problem-solve. In recent years, the game has gained traction as an educational tool, acknowledged by many as an important vehicle for engaging kids in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields such as programming, video game design & development, level design, and more. There will be supervised breaks with outdoor activities planned.

NEW ADVANCED DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY (AGES 12-17)
Advanced Digital Photography is designed for the student who is seriously interested in the practical experience of art photography. Students will be introduced to new photographers, digital artists, and more sophisticated techniques as points of departure to create work reflecting, individual spirit and vision. By exploring photographic and digital media with the camera and computer, students will be able to develop a body of work that reflects a range of problem solving ideation and develops versatility with techniques to demonstrate their abilities. Field trip is included in the cost of the program. Students must bring a SLR digital camera, cell phones and point & shoot cameras are not allowed to be used.

ARTWORK IN THE MAKING (AGES 8-11)
Children will have a blast creating and exploring mixed media and a diverse variety of art. Learners will be given the
opportunity to experiment with a variety of materials and tools to create several different art pieces. Each student’s personal
interest and unique abilities are embraced in an atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to learn from each other. Students
will have an opportunity to work on an ongoing collaborative outdoor art piece. A field trip is included with this program.

WEB DESIGN FOR BEGINNERS (AGES 10-15)
Web Design introduces you to Adobe Photoshop & Dreamweaver through step-by-step tutorials and interactive exercises.
Adobe Photoshop basics are taught using the drawing, paintbrush and selection tools as well as a variety of graphic file formats.
Hands-on experience with Dreamweaver will provide you with the basic toolset to add content and design elements such as
colors, text, images, image rollovers and tables to your personal web pages. This is for beginners although students should have experience with computers to be successful.
