Student Activities

Center for Leadership & Engagement

Log in to The Compass to sign up for student clubs, find out about upcoming student events, and RSVP for campus activities.

Student Activities can also be found on Facebook. Learn about upcoming events via updates to the group, meet new people and fellow students, and even make new friends.

The Center for Leadership & Engagement supports learning outside of the classroom through campus organizations, clubs and events that enrich the college experience. There’s something for everyone, and participation is more than a way to pass the time. Being part of a campus activity encourages teamwork, enhances communication skills, develops leadership abilities and reduces stress, while providing opportunities to meet people and make new friends. Among the activities and events that we offer are the following:

  • More than 30 student-run clubs and organizations
  • Student Union Government Association
  • Middlesex Activity Crew
  • Leadership Development
  • Community and civic engagement
  • First-Year Experience
  • Multicultural programming

Mission Statement

The Center for Leadership and Engagement fosters student success through transformative learning both within and beyond the classroom. With a focus on the whole student, the center offers intentional experiences for self-discovery through social, academic, community and civic participation. Through co-curricular involvement, students develop the knowledge and confidence to become responsible leaders and active citizens.
