Adult Learning Center

to the Adult Learning Center located on the Bedford Campus of Middlesex Community College. Established in 1995, the Adult Learning Center offers a FREE program for adult learners interested in improving their basic academic skills and/or in preparing for HiSET or GED testing, attending college, job training or employment.

Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 classes will continue to be held online. These classes include live, interactive sessions taught by instructors via Zoom as well as homework done by students outside of class time.
  • Daytime classes are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12:30pm.
  • Evening classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9pm.
Students will need:
  • a computer with a keyboard, speaker, microphone, and camera
  • reliable access to the internet
  • to be able to attend and participate in live class sessions
  • to have time to complete homework outside of class
To Enroll: Students should email the Adult Learning Center to receive program and registration information. If you cannot e-mail, please call 781-280-3662 and leave a message. Fall classes have begun and are currently full. Students may join our fall waitlist by completing the registration form and placement tests. Qualified students may be enrolled later in the semester if seats become available. Our next semester will begin in January. If you do not have a computer or reliable access to the internet or are only interested in taking in-person classes, please let us know.
