Parking Policies

Parking is allowed in designated areas only.

IF THERE IS NO SIGN POSTED – NO PARKING IS ALLOWED

Use of vehicle hazard lights to park in restricted areas (i.e. handicapped, reserved or any invalid parking area) will result in a parking violation.

Vehicles displaying handicapped placards must be in use by the (handicapped) individual to whom the placard was originally issued.

Parking Fines:
Parking violations issued must be paid within 21 days of receiving the violation. Payment can be made at the Student Accounts Office in Bedford (Enrollment Center, Building 9, Room 224) or Lowell (Cowan Center Building, 3rd floor, Room 317). Parking violations not paid within 21 days will result in additional monetary penalties.

If outstanding parking violations are not paid, violator will be called to a hearing. If violator does not appear for hearing, said parking violation will be forwarded to the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV). Failure to pay outstanding parking violations will result in the non-renewal of your driver's license and/or vehicle registration.

Parking-Violation Payments:
Payment of parking violations may be made by cash, credit or debit card, bank check, money order or personal check. Payments by personal check will be held for 21 days to clear the bank, including RMV release forms. Any fees associated with a returned check will be the responsibility of the violator.
