Attend events, such as social activities, sports and recreation, special speakers, and field trips, that introduce you to Middlesex and celebrate the beginning of your journey. These programs support the Critical Thinking, Multicultural and Global Literacy, Oral and Written Communication, Social Responsibility, Personal and Professional Development, and Quantitative Literacy institutional student learning outcomes.

Operation Nourish Opening Day Service for New Students

Merrimack Valley Food Bank
Lunch provided and van transportation will leave Bedford to Lowell campus and return. New students will sort and package Operation Nourish packages. Register before August 29by emailing denks@middlesex.mass.edu. Spaces are limited.

Center for Health & Wellness Open Houses

Learn about all the ways MCC makes it easy for you to get and stay healthy!  Learn more about our fitness facilities, sports, recreational events, health services and resources, and much more.  Stop by the Lowell or Bedford office for some healthy snacks and free giveaways and to meet the staff. 

 

Fitness Center Open House

Learn about our college sports offerings and tryouts, recreation, and wellness.  Tour the free Bedford Fitness Center, and get your free student ID while you are there.  Learn more about MCC student memberships at the UMASS Lowell Recreation Center.  Meet the Fitness Center staff, and enjoy some healthy snacks and free giveaways.

 

Intramural Sports Sign-Ups
Sept. 4-11
Sign up for intramural soccer (men’s and women’s), volleyball, flag football, and basketball (men’s and women’s).  To sign up, stop by the Bedford Fitness Center, the Lowell or Bedford Center for Health and Wellness, or visit the Fitness and Recreation website at https://www.middlesex.mass.edu/chw/sportsteams.aspx. Block Party

Kick off the start of your semester the right way with this big outdoor event!  Free food, free events and giveaways, music, recreational activities – lots of fun!  Don’t miss the annual MCC Block Party. Always a campus favorite – plan to be there!

 

Outdoor Movie Night

MCC Fitness Trail 5K Challenge

Bedford Campus
Ever run or walked a 5K before?  This event is perfect for beginners – a scenic, wooded, enjoyable 5K (3 mile) perfect for runners, joggers, and walkers.  Students register for reduced rate of $10, which includes an event t-shirt, goody bag, snacks, and respect from family and friends!
