Media Writing Micro Credential - Total Credits: 9Students who complete the Media Writing micro-credential will learn the fundamentals of purpose, context, voice, technique, and structure for effective writing. They will develop the essential skills to craft and publish compelling media messages for print, broadcast, and online formats.

Media Studies Micro Credential - Total Credits: 9Students who complete the Media Studies micro-credential will gain a strong grounding in the history, organization, economics, theories, law, and social significance of communication media. They will develop the essential skills to evaluate and analyze a wide range of media messages.

3 credits – COM 103 Media Ethics
3 credits – COM 106 Film & Society
