Upon successful completion, students are eligible to sit for the Massachusetts nurse assistant certification exam. This class will prepare students to continue into the field of advanced manufacturing. INTRODUCTION to CNC MACHINING is a course that will introduce the fundamentals of computer numeric control of machine tools. Students will learn the basics of CNC programming of vertical three axis mills and two axis lathes. Students will learn to set-up and operate the machines safely to produce parts. Basic part inspection and the fundamentals of machining will also be covered as topics in this course.
