Summer Financial Aid Eligibility
Students who were enrolled part time (less than 12 credits) during the fall
2016 and/or spring 2017 semesters may be eligible for Federal Pell Grant
funds for summer costs. You may use your Pell award this summer for less
than half time enrollment, even for only one class, in most circumstances.
Your eligibility for a Pell Grant for the summer of 2017 semester is subject to a
number of requirements:
· Your Pell grant award will be determined based on your level of enrollment
for the summer term.
· If you received a Pell Grant at another college this academic year, it will
reduce your remaining Pell Grant eligibility.
· Your summer Pell Grant will be cancelled if you are currently not meeting
satisfactory academic progress standards or after spring grade review.
· In some cases your summer Pell Grant may not cover the full cost of tuition
and fees.
