Intro to Floral Design
Have you always wondered how to make a floral arrangement
pleasing to look at? Join Cindy Mattson of Given Erwin Florist
for this 4 week class. We will cover the principles and elements of Floral
Design, as well as fresh flower care and handling. A hands-on workshop will
be included in each class session. All flowers, materials, and tools will be
provided and you can take home each project. Bring your creative spirit. This
is a fun, hands-on class - no experience is necessary! While this is more
of an educational program, the atmosphere is casual and the material we
will work with is lovely. We will use a different combination of florals each
week. Topics covered: Harmony and Unity; Proportion and Scale; Rhythm and
Emphasis; Balance and Symmetry. Materials fee of $25 for each class session
($100 total) payable to the instructor via cash or check only. Ms. Mattson is
accredited as an American Institute of Floral Design member. (10 hours) $99

Tropical Breeze Floral Design
The flowers of Hawaii and other tropical destinations are the
focal point of this hands on flower arranging class. We'll use
birds of paradise, protea, orchids, tropical greens and more. This stylized
arrangement is easy to make. We'll walk you through the process, step by
step. All flowers, materials and supplies are included in the price. Class is
laid back and fun with no experience required. An additional materials cost of

the beach to you with this lovely vase surrounded with seashells,
sea glass, sand and more. Fresh flowers like blue and green hydrangea, blue

critiqued by our knowledgeable teaching team of professional photographers.
