MS Word 2013 Certificate
Microsoft Word 2013 is a powerful and popular word processing program
most professionals use in the business world. This course will provide the
necessary skills for creating professional and eye-catching documents by
utilizing both basic and advanced techniques. This certificate provides students with a
powerful set of abilities to help them with career advancement.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to create and format
documents as small as business cards and as large as complete business policy manuals,
marketing materials, and customized materials. During each class, students will be
challenged to produce business documents, flyers, training handouts, resume and cover
letters, multi-column newsletters, mailing labels, and envelopes. The student will also
become proficient in mass mailings, multilevel lists, and charts, professional looking tables,
creating web content and standardized forms.
The skills students will learn and apply in order to create the above documents include
designing and formatting documents, page layout features, use of mailing feature, viewing
