Critical Conversations

Critical Conversations Logo

MCC is at a crucial point in the college’s history.

As we enter the next half-century, we are faced with declining enrollments and a pandemic causing us to teach, learn and work in new ways. We are also embarking on a journey to assess and address opportunity gaps facing our students, particularly students of color.

Now more than ever, it is important that we come together as an institution to openly discuss and collaboratively work to address challenges impacting our students and our community

Each month, I invite MCC faculty and staff to join with me and college leadership for Critical Conversations, a series of virtual town-hall style events designed to update the college community on a variety of topics and engage us in meaningful, collaborative work centered around the strategic issues facing the institution.

These monthly themed events will provide faculty and staff with the opportunity to network with colleagues while working on the institution’s strategic goals.

I look forward to seeing you at our next conversation.
