The primary focus of the course includes theory for exposing, processing, mounting and interpreting dental radiographs as well as quality assurance in the practice setting and alternate imaging modalities. The lab portion of the course focuses on the application of dental radiology theory in a clinical setting. Emphasis is on the practice of exposing, processing and mounting intra-oral radiographs with appropriate radiation hygiene and infection control protocol. 2 hour lecture/2 hour lab Course usually offered in the fall (DA) & spring (DH).
