Racial healing is an ongoing process. Through relationship-building and the acknowledgement of the damage inflicted by racism, we can form more equitable, just communities.

Together we can:

  • Envision what our communities will look, feel and be like when we dismantle the belief in a hierarchy of human value
  • Respond to the ways in which racism affects our relationships, structures and institutions
  • Move to promote transformational and sustainable change within our communities

Center for Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Vision: Middlesex Community College (MCC) envisions a community without racial hierarchy that actively challenges racism, is equity-minded, and is responsive to our diverse identities and community experiences. The MCC Center for Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) will serve as a convener for our internal and external communities to engage in racial healing and build deeper collective capacity toward racial equity and justice in relationships, structures, policy and practice.
