Summer 2022 Withdrawal/Refund Policy

When a student drops or withdraws from a course, processing, instructional and other costs must still be met by the college.  Therefore, refunds for official withdrawals from credit courses are adjusted as follows:

For Example: Students who withdraw during the 50% adjustment/refund period will be assessed:
3 credit course at $252 per credit equals $756; 50% adjustment /refund is $378

 

Refund Policy for Summer Sessions:

  • Summer Session I (May 31 – June 30)
    • ➢ On or Before June1 – 100% Adjustment/Refund
    • ➢ June 2 – June 6 – 50% Adjustment/Refund
    • NO Tuition & Mandatory fee ADJUSTMENT/REFUND AFTER JUNE 6
  • Summer Session II (June 1 – Aug 1)
    • ➢ On or Before June 3 – 100% Adjustment/Refund
    • ➢ June 4 – June 9 – 50% Adjustment/Refund
    • NO Tuition & Mandatory fee ADJUSTMENT/REFUND AFTER JUNE 9
  • Summer Session III (July 12 – August 11)
    • ➢ On or Before July 13 – 100% Adjustment/Refund
    • ➢ July 14 – July 18 – 50% Adjustment/Refund
    • NO Tuition & Mandatory fee ADJUSTMENT/REFUND AFTER JULY 18
  • Summer Quick Start (May 31 – June 17)
    • ➢ On or Before May 31–100% Adjustment/Refund
    • ➢ June 1 – 50% Adjustment/Refund
    • NO Tuition & Mandatory fee ADJUSTMENT/REFUND AFTER JUNE 1

Health 1 (AHP, NUR) (May 31 -August 2)

  • ➢ On or Before June 3 – 100% Adjustment/Refund
  • ➢ June 4 – June 9 – 50% Adjustment/Refund
  • NO Tuition & Mandatory fee ADJUSTMENT/REFUND AFTER JUNE 9

Health 2 (RAD, SON) (May 31 –August 2)

  • ➢ On or Before June 3 – 100% Adjustment/Refund
  • ➢ June 4 – June 9 – 50% Adjustment/Refund
  • NO Tuition & Mandatory fee ADJUSTMENT/REFUND AFTER JUNE 9

Students who withdraw from all of their classes during the 100% refund period will be assessed a non-waivable $25 administrative fee.

Important: To be eligible for a refund, students MUST officially withdraw from their class/classes by notifying the College in writing, in person, online, or by calling 1-800-818-3434. Official course withdrawal forms are available on each campus at The Student Information Center. Lack of attendance, course abandonment, etc., does not constitute course withdrawal. Students receiving Federal Title IV aid and who have officially withdrawn from the college may be entitled to a refund of tuition and fees in accordance with the federally mandated schedule.
