Placement Testing

Placement Testing is required for any student who has not completed college coursework in English and Math.

Exemptions may be granted if you have earned college credits in English and Math.

Also, students graduating from high school in the last three years with an overall GPA of 2.7 or higher are exempt from testing in English and Mathematics in most instances. In addition, students graduating from high school in the last three years who have an SAT score of 500 or better on the Evidenced Based Reading and Writing portion of the test are exempt from the English placement test.

Applicants who believe they are exempt should submit their high school or college transcripts for evaluation as soon as possible.

For those requiring testing, make an appointment to take a Placement Test. Choose to test at either the Bedford or Lowell campus.
