Scheduling Appointments

The Dental Hygiene Clinic is open from September through May with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and college semester breaks. Clinic hours vary from semester to semester, according to program schedule. However, appointments are available in the morning and afternoon.

Fall Semester Clinic Hours (Sept. – Dec.):

  • 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Wednesday
  • 1 - 5 p.m., Friday

Spring Semester Clinic Hours (Jan. – May):

  • 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday
  • 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Wednesday
  • 1 - 4 p.m. Thursday
  • 1 - 5 p.m. Friday

Treatment at MCC’s Dental Hygiene Clinic takes longer than in a private dental practice in order to support learning. Patient care is provided by students and carefully monitored by faculty. Each appointment will last three to four hours. You may often need to return two or more times to complete treatment. Treatment time is determined by the complexity of your dental needs. If multiple appointments are necessary to complete treatment, you will not be charged an additional fee.

Canceling an Appointment

MCC’s dental hygiene students have limited time to complete their clinical requirements. Completion of your treatment is essential to their success and ability to graduate.

  • Call at least 24 hours in advance if you must cancel an appointment.
  • Excessive missed appointments, cancellations or tardiness may result in dismissal as a clinic patient.
  • Either a parent or guardian must accompany all minors to provide consent for treatment.
  • Call 978-656-3250 to schedule or cancel an appointment.

We look forward to working with you!
