MassTransfer - a statewide transfer program

Our MassTransfer program allows you to complete an associate degree at MCC and transfer into a linked bachelor's degree program at a Massachusetts state college or University of Massachusetts campus. We make the process easy; all you need to do is complete a MassTransfer application form in your final semester. If you have a 2.5 grade point average, your admission is guaranteed, and if you earn a 3.0 or higher GPA, you are eligible for a 33% tuition waiver on your instate tuition costs.

You can benefit from MassTransfer even if you choose to transfer before you earn your degree. While your admission is not guaranteed, if you have completed the 34 credit MassTransfer Block with a 2.0 or higher GPA you will satisfy the general education/core requirements at your transfer college. The transfer school may require no more than 6 additional credits (2 courses) toward completion of your general education electives.

If you are interested in planning your transfer pathway, you can view listings of MCC programs that are linked with programs at the state colleges and UMass campuses and also view the courses that make up the MassTransfer block on the MassTransfer website.
