Beginning your college career at a community college is an intelligent choice.

Middlesex Community College participates in the statewide MassTransfer program, a collaboration between the Commonwealth's community colleges, state universities and the University of Massachusetts. MassTransfer allows students to transfer credits between Massachusetts public colleges and universities and also guarantees admission to students who achieve a minimum 2.5 GPA.

MCC + MAComCom

This fall MCC is also enrolling students in the Commonwealth Commitment.

Com-Com builds on MassTransfer and encourages timely degree completion. This program requires students to complete an associate degree within 2.5 years at a Massachusetts State Community College, and then transfer to a Massachusetts State Universitiy or Umass campus, and earn a bachelor’s degree within 2 more years. Students commit to maintain full-time continuous enrollment and a cumulative 3.00 GPA.

MCC + MAComCom

In return, the Commonwealth commits to providing a freeze on all tuition and mandatory fees on program entry, a 10% rebate on tuition and fees, guaranteed admission and transfer or credits, and no application fee or essay.
