Celebrating Our
40th Anniversary
with a new magazine
It's hard to believe that 40 years ago this fall,
Middlesex opened its doors to students for
the first time. We have come a long way!
The many successes of this college are due to
the hard work of hundreds of people over the years. We would not be
one of the largest, most comprehensive community colleges in
Massachusetts and the country without the support of our Trustees and
Foundation board members, as well as our dynamic partners and
staunch supporters in the community, in the State House, and in
Congress.
Profiles magazine, celebrates the people, programs and partnerships
that make Middlesex special. In honor of our 40th
anniversary, it has been totally redesigned into a
magazine format by our Publications staff.
I hope you enjoy reading the stories about MCC's
past, present and, of course, our future.
- Dr. Carole A. Cowan, Middlesex President
