Featured Programs 27 Biotechnology at MCC Addictions Counselor Program (ACP) A 9 course program offered on the BEDFORD CAMPUS with classes on TUESDAY and THURSDAY evenings. This program meets the educational requirements for the state LADC II and the CADC certification for addictions treatment counseling. Program graduates have readily found employment as addiction treatment counselors, intake clinicians, and residential case managers. All academic courses in this program transfer to the MCC Human Services degree and to all Massachusetts State Colleges and Universities. Students can complete either a certificate or an Associate’s degree in Biotechnology. Through classroom experience and internships, we provide the education and training required for entry-level employment in biotechnology manufacturing, research, media preparation, quality control and more. The Middlesex Dual Enrollment Academy allows qualified home-schooled students to EARN COLLEGE CREDIT while satisfying high school graduation requirements. College-level courses offered on MCC’s Bedford and Lowell campuses ONLINE • DURING THE DAY • EVENINGS • Almost 1,000 high school and home-schooled students are enrolled in Middlesex courses each semester. • Dual Enrollment Academy students can earn anywhere from three college credits to a full associate degree.
