Each week you will learn about twenty new English words originating from Greek sources such as Homer, Aristotle, Aeschylus and the Greek historians. Special attention will be paid to the vocabulary of myth and Greek tragedy - words such as hubris, nemesis and arete, which are especially meaningful today. Not only will you enjoy increasing your vocabulary, you will also deepen your understanding of Greek influences upon modern life.
