Credit Course Policy Information
Cost of Attendance
Fall 2017 Semester Tuition and Fee Due Date: July 31, 2017. Students who
register on or after July 31, 2017 will be billed at the time of registration.
All students, whether they study during the daytime, evening, weekends,
or any combination, will be charged the same amount per credit, unless
indicated otherwise for specific courses/ programs. The cost of attendance
schedule is as follows:
Per Credit
Massachusetts Residents ........................................................$198.00 per credit
(In order to qualify for in-state tuition, applicants must have proof
of Massachusetts residency. Residency is defined as six continuous
months of permanent primary domicile prior to the start of the semester.
A resident must intend to continue to live in Massachusetts indefinitely
and be prepared to verify such residence. Individuals with nonimmigrant,
nonpermanent residency visas will not qualify for Massachusetts
residency status)
Residents of NH, VT, ME, CT & RI ............................................$210.00 per credit
(Through the NE Regional Student Program)
Residents outside New England & International Students .....$404.00 per credit
Massachusetts High School/Home School Dual

Students with questions regarding their billing statement can visit the
Student Accounts Office. In Bedford, the Student Accounts Office is
located in the Enrollment Center (Building 9), Room 224 in Lowell it is
located in the City Building (third floor), Room 317. Hours for both offices
are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (extended hours are in
effect at the start of the semester). We can also be reached in Bedford at
781-280-3645 and in Lowell at 978-656-3291.
Fall 2017 Withdrawal/Refund Policy
When a student drops or withdraws from a course, processing, instructional
and other costs must still be met by the college. Therefore, refunds for
official withdrawals from credit courses are adjusted as follows:
Refund Policy for Regular Semester Schedule
(September 5 ­ December 22)
On or Before September 11 ­ 100% Adjustment/Refund
· Students who withdraw from all of their classes during the 100% refund
period will be assessed a non-waivable $25 administrative fee.
From September 12 to September 18 ­ 50% Adjustment/Refund
· For Example: 3 credit course at $198 per credit equals $594;
50% refund is $ 297.
· Technology/Lab Fee $125; 50% refund is $62.50
NO ADJUSTMENT/REFUND AFTER SEPTEMBER 18
Refund Policy for Late Start Program Schedule
(October 2 ­ December 22)
On or Before October 5 ­ 100% Adjustment/Refund
· Students who withdraw from all of their classes during the 100% refund
period will be assessed a non-waivable $25 administrative fee.
From October 6 to October 10 ­ 50% Adjustment/Refund
· For Example: 3 credit course at $198 per credit equals $594;
50% refund is $ 297.
· Technology/Lab Fee $125; 50% refund is $62.50
