Master Gardening Info Session
Are you interested in learning about a Master Gardener
Certification? MCC is interested in offering a Master Gardener
Certification program and is seeking a needs assessment from the community
we serve. We envision a program that produces knowledgeable gardeners
to volunteer time and aid to their local community disseminating horticultural
information to the public. We will discuss the following questions in our
session: Who in your community provides horticultural information during
the gardening season? Is your garden club or civic group interested in
offering technical support to your community? Are there community needs
for horticulture projects (e.g., 4-H clubs, school gardens, public landscaping
or others) for trained and willing volunteers? Would people in your area who
are interested in gardening be able or willing to pay the required fees for
participating in a Master Gardener Certification program? FREE and open to
the Public but you must call 1-800-818-3434 to reserve your seat.
