Physical Therapy Aide GES 125
In this online program, you will master all the skills you need to begin a
career as a physical therapy aide. You will learn what physical therapy
entails, identify the responsibilities of a PT aide, and develop a working knowledge
of anatomy and medical terminology. In addition, you will get a solid grounding
in patient care skills, infection control, and the legal and ethical regulations that
affect healthcare providers. By the end of the program, you will be fully prepared

CBCS Certified Medical Admin Assist with
Medical Coding and Billing GES 149
The CBCS Certified Medical Administrative Assistant with Medical Billing
and Coding is geared towards students who are interested in obtaining a career in
the healthcare industry, but have little to no experience within the sector.
This comprehensive program will provide a foundation of medical vocabulary, to
help you better understand doctors' notes and medical record contents. It will also
teach you essential medical office management skills that healthcare managers
look for, when hiring new front office staff.
Upon completion of this program, you will be prepared to sit for the Certified
Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) and the Certified Medical Administrative
Assistant (CMAA) exams offered by National Health career Association (NHA). The
registration fee for both exams are included with this program.
This program will also prepare you to sit for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
exam and the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam. To enroll or questions, call

Local Anesthesia Certification Training for RDH
This course is for RDH who would like to become certified in local anesthesia.
MCC complies with the Mass. Board of Registration in Dentistry regulations
for the administration of local anesthesia. The course consists of a 40-50 hour
online study (self-paced) prior to clinical training, interactive presentations,
and a 3-day clinical training in which students will have 30 injection
experiences. The strength of this hands-on course is the amount of actual
time you will administer injections to your classmates. Upon successful
completion, students will be awarded a certificate and 56 CEUs and will be

Hands-on Review of Local Anesthesia Techniques
If you are a Registered Dental Hygienist with a state license to administer
Local Anesthesia and would like to have faculty oversee your technique, this
class is for you. We will review maxillary and mandibular nerve blocks. The
goal of this course is to become more comfortable with injection techniques
that you have already learned, or to troubleshoot any barriers you have
encountered. Required Forms: License to administer local anesthesia and sit
as a patient for this hands-on course. Please enroll and submit the following
forms to the Community Education at MCC: RDH license, CPR cert, state
permit to Administer Local Anesthetic, medical history, and consent form. To

This comprehensive Medical Assistant Exam Certification exam prep
course is in preparation for the National Healthcare Certification Exam
(NHA). This lecture prep course will review topics: patient care, phlebotomy

and in addition to threatening a businesses' critical information, they
threaten our very way of life in a digital world. This introductory course is designed
to give the non-security focused IT administrator or Manager an introduction to the
concepts and terminology that comprise cybersecurity today so they can ensure
their organization is prepared to protect its critical information assets.
The purpose of the course lectures and discussions are to ensure students have
sufficient technical awareness and managerial competence that will enable them
to pursue advanced study in information security policy and management. There is
