  • Employee Benefits
    • Lifeworks EAP - One of the many great benefits that MCC offers its employees is the LifeWorks employee assistance program. Whether you have a quick question or a complicated issue, LifeWorks can help you manage your life, family, money, and work, with professional consultants, resources, articles, podcasts, and online tools. Services are confidential and you can access LifeWorks at no cost to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
    • Tuition Waiver Plan Summary - students are eligible for tuition waiver after working 350 hour in an assigned student position. Please click on the summary for more information.
  • Student Employee Requirements
    • The Commission's online Conflict of Interest training must be completed every 2 years. To obtain the summary of the Conflict of Interest Law, please log into MyMCC using your username and password, then, click on the blue box in the upper right hand corner of the page entitled “Blackboard Courses” to enter the Blackboard site. Once in Blackboard, find the section entitled “My Courses” on the right-hand side of the page, and click on “HR_Conflict_Of_Interest_Training.” The Summary is contained in Part 1 of the Blackboard Course.

    • If you are due to re-take the Conflict of Interest training, you must do so via Blackboard to record your compliance. The Training is contained in Part 2 of the “HR_Conflict_Of_Interest_Training” in Blackboard. For instructions, see the HR webpage: https://www.middlesex.mass.edu/humanresources/downloads/conf.pdf.  You may complete the training while at work, or from a remote computer. The training will take approximately 60-90 minutes to complete. Employees unfortunately cannot complete the training nor obtain the summary of the law through a mobile device (e.g., IPad, tablet, smartphone).

    • The State Ethics Commission’s website contains additional information about the obligations of the College and its employees pursuant to the Ethics Reform Law. See http://www.mass.gov/ethics/about-the-commission/organization/the-public-education-division/faqs.html. Please contact Kimberley McMahon in Human Resources at mcmahonk@middlesex.mass.edu if you have any questions about the Conflict of Interest Law requirements.
