Seasons of Service

Middlesex will offer students, faculty and staff community service opportunities in a variety of community organizations. This year-long initiative will provide one-time service events and longer term projects. Over the course of the 2011-2012 academic year, MCC will continue our work to "be the change" in our local communities.

Seasons of Service will provide students, faculty and staff service opportunities to meet identified needs in our neighboring communities. You can choose to participate with your academic department, class, club, or as an individual. Members of the MCC campus community may choose from a variety of service opportunities. Service projects will be available on specific days and with flexible schedules. Some will be coordinated by Student Activities, others will be done on your own.

MCC's Seasons of Service initiative is part of the nationwide service initiative United We Serve launched in June 2009 by President Barack Obama. The White House initiative is a sustained, collaborative and focused effort to meet community needs and make service a way of life for all Americans.
