CPR Class Information
MCC offers monthly CPR courses on campus, provided by PrideStarEMS, a local CPR certification company. Please see the PrideStar EMS website for upcoming classes at MCC.
Please note that the recommended BLS course DOES NOT INCLUDE FIRST AID. If you need a First Aid Course, you can select that separately on the PrideStar EMS website.
Class Details
- Meets the requirements of all MCC Health Programs
- 2-year Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association (DOES NOT INCLUDE FIRST AID)
- Reduced course fee of $65 for current MCC students, faculty, and staff using discount code “MCC student”
- Course fee is $80 for non-MCC community members
- Course length is approximately four hours
- On-site courses are offered monthly at MCC, alternating between Lowell and Bedford
- CPR books are not required but are available for purchase online

To register for any of our upcoming CPR courses:
- Go to PrideStarEMS to select a CPR class.
- Select class Type "HC Professional BLS (CPR) Courses"
- Click the enroll button for the "BLS Provider Course"
- Enter your information and discount code "MCC Student" to receive the discounted $65 rate
Classes may be taken on either MCC campus or any of their other locations.
