How to Help
Stage a benefit concert
We invite musicians to organize local Strings for Cambodia benefit concerts – in all musical genres.
Music unites people, creates bridges of understanding, and helps to heal and reconcile. An incredibly rich culture, which the Khmer Rouge almost obliterated, is trying to pull itself back from the brink of destruction.
In this generous spirit and for the sake of renewal in Cambodia, we invite musicians to organize local benefit concerts to help raise funds to purchase and send Western string instruments to Cambodia.
We welcome concerts of all genres of music. Each concert presenter or organization will have full control of program content and scheduling, and will be responsible for all aspects of the concert, including, but not limited to: choice of musicians, venue, publicity, tickets, insurance, etc.
For more information about how to stage a Strings for Cambodia Benefit Concert, contact MCC Music Professor Johannah Segarich.

Music unites people around the world, creates bridges of understanding, and helps to heal and reconcile. Cambodia's rich cultural heritage was almost wiped out under the Khmer Rouge. After years of suffering, the Cambodian people are still struggling to recover and rebuild their social, economic and cultural foundations.
In this generous spirit, and for the sake of renewal in Cambodia, we ask you to help us raise funds to purchase and send Western string instruments to Cambodia.
We appreciate individual donations of any amount to Strings for Cambodia. All donations are tax deductible.
Checks made payable to the MCC Foundation, Inc. (with "Strings for Cambodia" in the memo field) may be mailed to:
