Activity 6. Increase TAA-eligible and other un- and under-employed worker access to career training opportunities

College Career Navigator

Nancy Quinn, the College and Career Navigator, serves customers at the Career Center of Greater Lowell (Thursdays), The Career Place (Fridays) and Career Source (Wednesdays). She helps students to identify programs of study that will prepare them for career opportunities and potential funding options to support their studies, such as accessing Section 30/TOPS, Individual Training Accounts (ITA), Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) benefits and financial aid programs. The College Career Navigator also connects students to admissions and financial aid staff, follows-up with them when they enroll in college to ensure they access the support services that will ensure their academic success, and connects them to career center job placement staff when they have completed their studies. The College Career Navigator may be reached at quinnn@middlesex.mass.edu or by calling 978-656-3464.
