Problem Based Learning in Histology: Are Understanding and Motivation Enhanced?

This project explored the connection between the use of Problem-based learning and student motivation. Problem Based Learning was utilized to assist students in making connections between the course content and clinical decision making. The research question that was examined was: Will using a problem based approach which uses questioning, inquiry learning and group work enhance students' understanding of the topic, and increase the student's motivation to learn the subject.
