Making MCC A Healthier Place to Learn and Work

Smoke-Free MCC

Statistics show that tobacco use is the #1 cause of preventable death worldwide, resulting in nearly 5 million deaths each year.

As advocates for health in an educational setting, MCC promotes the health and well-being of all campus community members by offering education, resources, activities and events to support personal health and wellness.

Non-smoking policies are not only designed to protect nonsmokers from second hand and third-hand smoke, but are also intended to encourage individuals to improve their health by quitting the use of tobacco products.
