A "Pathways to Student Success" professional development workshop will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Cape Cod Community College's Tilden Arts Center located at 2240 Iyannough Road in West Barnstable. Campuses engaged in Complete College America/Guided Pathways initiatives are encouraged to bring an institutional team to this workshop. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Davis Jenkins of Community College Research Center at Columbia University. To access a copy of the Breakout Themes agenda, click here.

The workshop registration fee is $30.00 per attendee. (Institutions will be invoiced by CCCC prior to 4/1.)

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Davis Jenkins of Columbia University
Davis Jenkins is a senior research associate at the Community College Research Center at  Columbia University’s Teachers College. He works with colleges and states to find ways to improve educational and employment outcomes for students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Davis's research and thinking have informed the development and spread of innovative approaches to improving student outcomes, including career pathways, adult technical bridge programs (such as Washington State's I-BEST), and guided pathways to success (GPS). Davis has over 30 years of experience as a researcher, evaluator, consultant, and program manager on projects related to education and employment in the United States and abroad.
