MCC360 Objectives

Over the five years of the MCC360 Title III project Middlesex Community College will achieve the following:

OBJECTIVES
  • Increase persistence and retention rates by 5% of students using online planning integrated with e-Advising, by 2021;
  • Increase the number of enrolled students and yield of enrolled compared to applied by 5% per year by adding streamlined enrollment functions accessible through the student portal;
  • Increase graduation rates of FT/FT students by 5% who use online planning and advising from 2015 baseline;
  • Increase faculty usage of LMS/Blackboard for assessment of student learning, to 100+ faculty trained by 2021;
  • Develop institutional capacity to use analytics to inform student learning; train 50+ faculty in use of LMS linked to analytics
  • Increase faculty/staff usage of analytics for better student persistence and retention outcomes by training 100+ faculty/staff advisors on IPAS (integrated planning and advising system);
  • Increase effectiveness of student decision-making through use of learning analytics linked to IPAS, 5% increase in persistence and retention rate of students using linked IPAS.
