International Business Assistance Program
Through this federal Title VI B grant from the U.S. Department of Education, 15 area companies received extensive trade assistance from seasoned trade executives. www.ed.gov

Massachusetts Export CenterEmployer
This state agency sponsors seminars and provides technical assistance in export topics for small- and medium-sized businesses, accomplished in collaboration with the Merrimack Valley Small Business Assistance Center, Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce and the North Suburban Chamber of Commerce. Middlesex partners with the Export Center to provide space for workshops focusing on international trade. www.mass.gov/export

Partners for Trade
This regional collaborative between the Massachusetts Export Center and chambers of commerce, trade associations, economic development agencies and the private sector has been offering a series of half- and full-day executive seminars on international trade. Since its inception in 1992, the Partners for Trade program has enabled thousands of Massachusetts companies to learn what they need to know to succeed in global markets. www.mass.gov/export
