Past Student Federal Loan Debt Forgiveness

The Supreme Court has issued a ruling on whether the Biden Administration could move forward with its plans for targeted student debt relief. The Supreme Court in a 6-3 vote has decided to strike down the proposal for One-time Federal Student Loan Debt Relief. The Biden Administration is currently looking at alternatives to providing students and families with Federal Student Loan Debt Relief.

Please note!  Be aware that there are scammers trying to take advantage of this new program. Students are already receiving calls regarding their student loans saying they can prequalify for loan forgiveness. Do not give them any of your personal information such as social security number and date of birth. And do not pay any money for this, it is a free program to help reduce your debt not add to it.  Here is more information about avoiding student aid scams.

Fresh Start
